Hi, I’m Dakyeom Ahn, a Product Designer who starts from understanding people.

At Kodebox, I design HR & payroll SaaS for Korean businesses. Before polishing a screen, I start from data, finding where users actually get stuck and reframing the real problem. I translate tangled rules and exceptions into structures people can read and act on at a glance, and when solving it takes a tool that doesn’t exist yet, I build it.

All of this is grounded in HCI research. At KAIST KIXLAB and SNU HCI+D Lab, I learned to observe what people actually do, validate it with data, and always ask what’s the evidence behind a decision. I believe good design starts with understanding not what users say but what they actually do. Today I get to see that insight tested in shipped products.
